M&S dmc3-4 Intercom Master Station Overview

If you are looking for an intercom system to upgrade your 6-wire intercom, check out the dmc1 master station intercoms. The dmc3-4 Music/Communication Retrofit Master system by M&S is great choice for your intercom upgrade and music needs. The M&S dmc3-4 can be purchased in white, almond, or black with or without an external Mp3 connection. This intercom system offers all-call and door communication, AM/FM radio, and an optional 6-disc CD player dmc1CD. This intercom master station is specifically designed to replace a 3-wire intercom system with up to 13 remote stations or a 4-wire intercom system with up to 15 remote stations plus 3 door speakers.

If you have a front door or gate that you would like to have remote door release, the DRW Door Release Mechanism.  This can be used from the master station or any room speaker. The dmc3-4 offers two different optional door chimes, a three-note Model, the MC3 or an eight-note Model, the MC8.

Adding Music to the dmc3-4

With a powerful 30 Watt (RMS) maximum output amplifier, eight presets for both AM/FM radio built in and 2 separate audio inputs, the M&S dmc3-4 is a great option for music distribution. With the LCD backlight display, you can easily view music and intercom functions.  When purchasing a M&S dmc3-4 master station intercom, there is an optional 6-disc CD changer, the dmc1CD.

Door and Room Stations (Speakers)

• The DMC3R, DMC3RS and DMC3RW are used with the 3-wire intercom systems, like the NuTone IMA3303, IM3303, and IM303.
• The DMC4R, DMC4RS and DMC4RW are used with the 4-wire intercom systems, like the M&S MC602, MC302 and the 350.
• The White DS3B, Antique Brass D3BN, Polished Brass BD3BN, and the Satin Nickel
  
  DS3NB are M&S door speakers with push buttons.  The White DS3, Antique Brass D3N, and the Polished Brass BD3N are M&S door speakers without buttons.

Finish out Frames

For all retrofit indoor room stations, use a Model dmcFR Room Station Retrofit Mounting Frame. The dmcFR style frames are 7-1/2" x 10". If your speakers are larger than this, take a look at the CentralVacuumStores.com exclusive retrofit frames for 8" speakers. For all outdoor surface-mount patio stations, use a Model dmc1HRWS Surface-mount Rough-in Enclosure. For a high sun area flush-mount retrofit patio station,  use a Model dmcFRW Patio Station Retrofit Mounting Frame.  Upgrading your door speaker from a NuTone door speaker requires the M&S dmcFD Door Speaker Retrofit Mounting Frame.

NOTE: All room stations, patio stations, and door speakers must be replaced when installing a dmc3-4 retrofit system.
