Aiphone C-123LW replacement for Nutone IK15 door answering system.

The Aiphone C-123L/A is a chime com door entry set that includes 2 Masters and 1 Door Station. This system can run off of (8) "C" batteries or a power supply (SKK-620) can be purchased separately.

The Aiphone C-123LW system is an excellent choice for replacing an existing NuTone IK15 door answering system. Nutone has sold thousands and thousands of the IK15 systems, but in 2010 they discontinued them.  At Central Vacuum Stores, we have found that our customers are quite happy with the Aiphone C-123 as a replacement for their Nutone IK15 This C-123LW will work with your existing wiring. This system can run off of (8) "C" batteries or a power supply (SKK-620) can be purchased separately.

Additional Aiphone C-123LW Upgrades

Upgrade to a metal Aiphone door speaker
The Aiphone C-123L/A is a complete kit and includes a door speaker.  You can upgrade that speaker to a metal speaker, shown below. 

PLEASE NOTE: Because the C-123LW is a kit, if you choose to upgrade you will not be able to return the plastic speaker included in the kit.

Upgrade and add additional Aiphone inside master stations
In addition, up to four inside master stations can be added to the C-123 systems. Additional C-ML/A can be purchased separately.  The system only allows for one door station.  An optional door strike is also available, the EL-12S.

Important Aiphone C-123L/A Wiring Information

The Aiphone C-123L/W is a 2 wired intercom.  It is powered by batteries or can be powered by an optional 6V DC power supply, the SKK-620.  When using you are using doorbell or chime wire remember that it may contain high-voltage.  Be sure to locate the present transformer. 

• When opening the front card the connecting terminals and battery compartment are located underneath the front case.  Simply push the bottom of the front case up, and lift off the back chassis.
• For an overhead installation, attach the supplied pull cord to the lever.  This activates  Talk switch.
• To adjust communicaiton volume use a screwdriver to adjust to the desired volume leve.  The chime tone is a fixed volume that cannot be adjusted.
• For a door release connet Aiphone's EL-12S (sold separately) with a separate jacketed cable from communication.  You will also need the Aiphone PT-121ON AC transformer to power the door release.  If you choose to use another manufacturer's strike, it must not exceed 50V AC, 1A.
