M&S BD3N Door Speaker - Bright Brass

The BD3N Intercom Door Station does not have a built-in door bell.  This is solely a voice communication interface that mounts adjacent to any door you wish to communicate with from an inside room speaker.  This M&S BD3N door speaker is compatible with the dmc1 and dmc3-4 Music/Communication Intercom Systems.

The residence’s existing doorbell button is used to announce a visitor. Two-way voice communication with the resident occurs through the unit’s built-in speaker.

The door station mounts recessed in the wall using a Model ME3 Door Station Rough-in Enclosure.  These M&S intercom door speakers can also be surface mounted.  The surface mount frame is available in white or black.  If you are using this D3N M&S intercom door speaker without push button to replace a NuTone door speaker, the dmcFD update frame is required.  The dmcFD is only available in white, however it can easily be spray painted.
