Safeguard for Central Vacuum Motors

A clog or block in your central vacuum system has the potential to burn out the motor on your central vacuum power unit. The Vac-Valve opens to make sure air flow to your motor is not cut off should a clog or blockage occur in your system. This valve can extend or save the life of your central vacuum motor. It is adjustable and fits ALL central vacuum systems.

The kit includes the following:

• Scheduled 40 Sweep Tee
• 2x2 Adaptor
• Air Relief Valve
• Installation Instructions

Installation Process

Install the Vac Valve and Sweep Tee on the intake side of your central vacuum, right before the pipe enters the central vacuum unit. View picture for orientation of the Sweep Tee - note horizontal or vertical does not matter.

Note: If the valve opens without the airflow being fully blocked you have loosened the nut too much and you will need to slightly retighten the nut.
