The Imperium Suction Relief Valve has a Lifetime warranty. This warranty is for the Imperium SRV valve only and does not cover the motor or unit.

A clog or block in your central vacuum system has the potential to burn out the motor on your central vacuum power unit. The Imperium SRV - Suction Relief Valve opens to make sure air flow to your motor is not cut off should a clog or blockage occur in your system. This valve can extend or save the life of your central vacuum motor. It is adjustable and fits ALL central vacuum systems.

Installation Process

Install the Imperium SRV and sweep T valve on the intake side of your central vacuum, right before the pipe enters the central vacuum unit. View picture for orientation.

Note: If the valve opens without the airflow being fully blocked you have loosened the nut too much and you will need to slightly retighten the nut.
