Beam Electrolux Power Head Cogged Belt - #155686

The 155686 is a Beam replacement cogged or geared belt. If your powerhead is unusually noisy, you may have some stripped teeth in your geared belt. These belts generaly last much longer than a standard flat belt. 

This belt was used in the Beam Imperial Powerhead. The roller brush is no longer available for this model, so Beam has sold an upgrade kit. If you purchased the upgrade kit, than this replacement belt will NOT fit your Imperial Powerhead. If you have the orginal roller brush and motor, this is the right belt for you. 

The Beam Electrolux Cogged Belt #155686 fits the following Power Heads:

  • Beam Imperial 1500 (original powerhead - has not been upgraded, has original motor and rollerbrush)
  • Beam Imperial 1550 (original powerhead - has not been upgraded, has original motor and rollerbrush)
  • Smart Model SA7001
  • Smart Model SB2001

Instead of just the straight suction of normal central vacuum tools, this has a revolving brush powered by the air of your central vacuum system so that it's cleaning ability far exceeds that of normal tools. It's especially good if you have pets and need to remove pet hair from your upholstery.

If you have a central vacuum, then you will be able to relate to the tremendous advantage of a hose sock. A central vacuum hose is constructed of ribbed material which can cause scratches, dents, chips and scuff marks on your walls and furniture. A hose sock covers the vacuum hose and provides a barrier between the ribbed hose material and your walls, making it impossible for the hose to cause any damage.
