Beam Manufacturing

The Beam story really begins in 1957 when the Beam company began to turn their attention to central vacuum systems.  Since that time Beam has emerged as one of the leaders in the industry, largely because of aggressive marketing to home builders.  In January 2007 Beam came under the Electrolux name and is part of the Electrolux central vacuum product mix, which includes Beam, Eureka, and Electrolux central vacuum systems.

Beam has a wide network of dealers across the United States and Canade, and customers have the opportunity to purchase online or from their local dealer.  In addition to the central vacuum power units, Beam manufactures a complete line of central vacuum attachments, inlets, and accessories to complement their systems.

Beam central vacuum systems are known for their inverted filter bags. The newer inverted filter bags are made of a material that resists dust and debris, making them cleaner than the older models.  The Beam power uniits are constructed of metal with durable non-metallic dirt canisters.  Customers appreciate the QS series because these models are extremely quiet and powerful, while the Beam Line series is the same central vacuum that Beam built their reputation on.

While Beam by Electrolux central vacuum systems are now manufactured across the globe, they  maintain their headquarters  in Webster City, Iowa.
