The Centec CT20DXQS features a wrap-around bumper for protecting fine furniture and baseboards, height adjustment for a wide variety of carpet piles, large rear wheels to help negotiate around furniture and uneven surfaces, a reset button to protect the motor from jams, headlight, and an easy release at the powerhead for removing wands for above the floor use.

The QuietDrive with Dirt Sensor allows you to clean with confidence. The red lights let you know the brush is still picking up the dirt, the green lights let you know the area is clean. You end up saving time and money. The cleaner you keep your carpet, the longer it will last. Active brush edge cleaners are on both sides of the powerhead electric brush. Guide either side of the brush along baseboards or next to furniture to help remove dirt trapped at carpet edges.The overload protector protects the motor from brush jamming and belt breakage. If the agitator slows down or stops, The overload protector shuts off the brush. The QuietDrive Poly-V belt is always in contact. The old intermittent chatter vibration of geared belts, where belt and drive surfaces are continually engaging and disengaging is eliminated making this powerhead extremely quiet with increased gripping power. Need Wands with this Powerhead?

The wands are designed to fit either Recessed or Flush hoses

Take a look at the two main different types of electric handles; recessed and flushed. The powerhead on this page does not include wands.  The powerhead with wands can be purchased as a kit for a discount.

The hose handles below are the two most popular styles. It is possible that you have something a little different. If you are replacing your powerhead and your handles do not match below, then we recommend using your existing wands. If you have a CPB100S powerhead or CT210QD powerhead than you should replace it with the same, your hose is very proprietary. 

Replacement Belt - Poly V Belt EB28010

Note: If you are replacing an existing powerhead and have a Nutone CH310 hose, your new powerhead cord will be too short because of the length of the handle. In these situations, you may need to purchase the PT40 Nutone 0326B000 adaptor cord if your current powerhead has a hard-wired power cord. If you're replacing a CT600, you may use your existing lower wand, with the longer cord.
