The Beam SP800 is manufactured by Wessel-Werk. The Wessel-Werk powerhead equivalent to the Beam SP800 is the EBK-340 powerhead. The only difference in these two powerheads is the color. The Beam SP800 is gray and the EBK-340QDCW is black. 

The Wessel-Werk EBK340QDCW is a proprietary powerhead designed specifically for use with Plastiflex hoses, the hoses commonly used by Beam. These hoses can be identified by a letter “P” stamped on the hose cuff that plugs into the wall. This German engineered and manufactured EBK340QDCW is the most popular Wessel-Werk powerhead. This powerhead includes a new integrated telescoping wand.

An integrated wand means the electric cord is connected to the wand, so when the wand is disconnected, the power is also disconnected. When the wand is connected, it locks to the hose and powerhead securing the electrical connection. Imagine a powerhead with no clumsy cords, and you are imagining the Wessel-Serk EBK340QDCW.
