Beam, made by Electrolux, carries several different powerhead options for your Beam central vacuum system.  The RugMaster Plus powerhead is quite possibly one of the most widely sold and most recognized powerheads on the market. The Beam Rugmaster Plus is an icon of sorts in the central vacuum power head world. It tackles any task and quickly conquers with a steadfast determination only found with these powerheads. Upon inspection, you will find that the Rugmaster Plus has rubber on plastic wheels, allowing for smooth sailing on your oceans of carpets while protecting the hard surfaces in your home from scuffing or scratching. This BM1393 boasts of 2.5 amps, a full length light, an easy view belt window, and a metal roller brush. This system must be used with a control hose with an on/off switch. When you purchase this powerhead, you will also receive upper and lower metal wands. The upper has cord management built in for your flush connection hose.

As you continue this proud tradition, know that this is a direct replacement for your prior Rugmaster Powerhead. Adding a nice bonus, often not seen with powerheads purchased separately, it also comes with an extra flat belt, so you won't experience any delay should the installed belt go out. The Rugmaster has a floating head design that automatically adjusts to any carpet level for maximum cleaning.  An incandescent headlamp lights up your cleaning path for cleaning in low lighting.  It is designed with a basic flat belt system. The Rugmaster Plus Powerhead is designed to fit any standard 1-1/4" electric central vacuum hose. This powerhead will include wands, but in some cases you may need to use your old wands for the connection to be properly made.
