Imperium Essential Basic Tool Kit Pigtail 30ft
The Imperium Essential Basic Toolkit is for customers who need a hose, powerhead and wands, but do not need the other central vacuum tools. This basic set comes with the Imperium CT20DXQD Essential Quietdrive powerhead. In addition to the powerhead, the kit also includes a 30ft electric hose with recessed hose handle and an integrated telescoping wand. This kit comes in direct connect and pigtail and in hose lengths of 30 and 35 feet. If you're not sure whether you need pigtail or direct connect, scroll down for an explanation of each.

The Imperium Essential QuietDrive Power Head includes many noteworthy features. There are active brush edge cleaners are on both sides of the powerhead electric brush. Guide either side of the brush along baseboards or next to furniture to help remove dirt trapped at carpet edges. The overload protector protects the motor from brush jamming and belt breakage. If the agitator slows down or stops, the overload protector shuts off the brush. A headlight will light the darkest places of your home so you'll always be able to see the cleaning path. QuietDrive belts are always in contact. The intermittent chatter vibration of geared belts, where belt and drive surfaces are continually engaging and disengaging, is nowhere to be found. The result is a quiet powerhead with increased gripping power.

I went to the Home Improvement Show to shop vendors and get quotes to pitch the carpet for hard surface floors. The original vac would NOT pick up pet hair and I was tired of scraping my foot across the carpet to collect the hair in a pile and then using the hose to suck it up. The flooring quote was so high that I consider ignoring the Central Vac systems and purchasing a regular old fashioned vac. Fortunately, I did check to see if there was a new and improved model and your associate did answer all of my questions. I'm actually proud of how the carpet looks now, and the real proof of how well the new model works is ALL that pet hair in the big garbage can size canister!
