This tool kit includes a revolutionary Electric powerhead, the CT24DXQD 14" Quiet Drive Plus Electric Brush with Lift-off Floor Tool. This exclusive product has something no other brush has. A touch of the release lever, conveniently located at the back of the nozzle, releases a 10.75" hard floor brush still attached to your wand. This saves you time and effort by allowing you to move from carpet to hard floor surfaces without switching to a second wand and brush. This powerhead has a full 14" cleaning path with brushed edge cleaning which draws dust and debris from along base boards into the air stream.

The chevron brush pattern on the agitator is designed to increase deep cleaning by pulling debris from deep in the carpet fibers without the risk of damaging the carpet. The chevron brush pattern moves debris to the center of the brush where it can be easily lifted from the carpet by the power of your central vacuum.

	A 12 inch barefloor brush is perfect for any hard surface you want to clean. With the larger brush, you can clean more flooring in less time. It is great for tile, marble, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood floors. Even if your floors have deep grout, the brushes on this tool will grab the dirt out of the cracks on every pass. The swivel design allows you to get low, underneath counters and furniture. A central vacuum bare floor tool makes quick work of cleaning because they are light and easy to use. If you have throw rugs, a bare floor tool will also allow you to gently clean them without worrying about sucking them up.
	An integrated button lock telescoping wand is included with this set. However, some people want more wands. You may want to consider purchasing extra wands. Often customers like to keep an extra set of wands and a bare floor brush in their garage, utility closet, or kitchen pantry. The best way to decide whether you need a direct connect electric hose or a pigtail electric hose is by determining what type of inlets you have. Standard inlets will require the use of an electric pigtail hose.

Electric Central Vacuum Inlets
	Electric Inlets can be used with any standard, turbo, pigtail or direct connect hoses but they are designed for direct connect hoses. These inlets require low voltage wiring AND electrical wiring. The low voltage wiring is used to turn the vacuum system on or off. The electrical wiring provides electricity to the powerhead that is used to clean carpet. The direct connect central vacuum hose has electrical wire running through the hose and the end that plugs into the inlet has prongs that fit into the inlet for electricity to the powerhead.
If the inlets pictured above look like your inlets, then you need a direct connect attachment set. If NOT, take a look at the standard inlets picture below. If you have standard inlets then you will need to purchase a pigtail attachment set. A pigtail electric central vacuum hose will have a cord exposed only on the end of the hose. This cord will plug into the electrical outlet near the central vacuum inlet you are using.
Standard Central Vacuum Inlets
	Standard Inlets are non-electrical inlets. These inlets require low voltage for turning the vacuum system on or off. These inlets have NO electrical capability. If electrical attachments are used (i.e. powerhead), then you need to use a central vacuum hose called a Pigtail Hose. This hose has a powercord attached to it and in addition to connecting the hose to the inlet, there will be a 4 to 8 foot power cord (usually referred to as a Pigtail) that plugs into an electrical outlet for electricity.

An airdriven powerhead will do a good job on low to medium pile carpeting but an electric powerhead is recommended when you have either wall to wall carpeting, high pile carpeting, or pet hair to deal with. Overall, the vaccuum tool kit is excellent.

PROS:
The most incredible option is that the floor sweeper 'plugs' into the power head. It is exceptionally convienient to go from carpet to floor and then back. Additionally, the thing handles like a sports car. I was very happy the way that the head easily goes from side to side, along with the 'light' feel that this set offers. Another great feature is that the power head, well really lives up to the promises... Nice power to pick up anything necessary (sometimes too much, watch baby socks!!).

CONS:
I dont want to take anything away from the performance of this kit... It does perform well!!! The one thing I do not like is the 'flimsy' feel of the hose. I understand that it was for a lighter feel, but it has real issues when you try to coil it onto the wall holder. It has a mind of its own and finally needs to just get 'put in its place'. It was rather frustrating coiling this hose. If given an option, I would have gladly paid for a heaver duty hose along with a bit longer one as well.

OVERALL:
Barring the hose (lightness and attitude), I think that the pros far outweigh the cons. The performance is, at the end of the day, what you really need - of which this unit does have. The 2-heads-in-1 feature is OUTSTANDING with excellent maneuverability and power.

This is my second attachment set by Cen-Tec. I have a set with the 20QD power nozzle that is still going strong and like it so much better than the Dust Care power nozzle that I bought this set with the 24QD. The only thing it does not have is a light. I have found that the light is really not a big deal. I love this attachment set and it is worth the price that I paid for it. Love the floor brush that pops out of the power nozzle. It's great since my 1st floor is all hard wood with 2 room size rugs. This makes it much easier.
