The Imperium Essential attachment set is an economical Imperium attachment set that includes the "essentials" you need to clean your home with confidence. Imperium is manufactured by Lindsay Manufacturing , a leader in central vacuum systems, manufacturing such brands as AirVac and Valet. Central Vacuum Stores is the Authorized Distributor for Imperium central vacuum systems. The Imperium Essential set can be used in any 1-1/2” standard electrical central vacuum inlet. The Imperium Essential QuietDrive Power Head includes many noteworthy features. There are active brush edge cleaners are on both sides of the powerhead electric brush. Guide either side of the brush along baseboards or next to furniture to help remove dirt trapped at carpet edges. The overload protector protects the motor from brush jamming and belt breakage. If the agitator slows down or stops, the overload protector shuts off the brush. A headlight will light the darkest places of your home so you'll always be able to see the cleaning path. QuietDrive belts are always in contact. The intermittent chatter vibration of geared belts, where belt and drive surfaces are continually engaging and disengaging, is nowhere to be found. The result is a quiet powerhead with increased gripping power.

	The 30ft Direct Connect Electric Hose has a 3-way switch on the handle. This hose will not only turn the powerhead on and off, it will also control the central vacuum unit. The hose handle swivels 360 degrees. The hose has the recessed cord management handle.

	A 12 inch barefloor brush is perfect for any hard surface you want to clean. With the larger brush, you can clean more flooring in less time. It is great for tile, marble, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood floors. Even if your floors have deep grout, the brushes on this tool will grab the dirt out of the cracks on every pass. The swivel design allows you to get low, underneath counters and furniture. A central vacuum bare floor tool makes quick work of cleaning because they are light and easy to use. If you have throw rugs, a bare floor tool will also allow you to gently clean them without worrying about sucking them up.
	Two sets of wands are included with this set; two metal wands for use with the powerhead and a metal telescoping wand for use with the barefloor brush and other attachments. This probably is sufficient for your needs, however, some people want more wands. You may want to consider purchasing extra wands. Often customers like to keep an extra set of wands and a bare floor brush in their garage, utility closet, or kitchen pantry. This allows them to just pull out their hose and they are ready to clean in the garage, bathroom, upstairs, or wherever. 	The Imperium Dusting Brush has natural 1 1/2 inch bristles. A small tool with full bristles, the dusting brush has traditionally been used for dusting furniture, baseboards, lamps, and lamp shades. 	An Upholstery tool is included. Central vacuum upholstery tools are a standard cleaning accessory found in this central vacuum attachment set. The standard upholstery tool usually includes an elongated tool with or without short bristles. The Imperium tool includes a slide on brush. The central vacuum upholstery tool is designed for cleaning furniture and car upholstery. Most upholstery tools are constructed of a heavy duty plastic. There are, however, a wide variety of upholstery tools designed for a wide variety of cleaning applications. This brush can be used for both dusting as well as cleaning upholstery. These tools are thin and narrow and allow you to get into small areas with your central vacuum system. The crevice tool included with this kit is 9 inches long. But crevice tools come in a variety of lengths…anywhere from 4” all the way up to 36”. The longer crevice tools are perfect for getting under your refrigerator or very low furniture. 	A tool caddy allows you to vacuum your floors carrying tools attached to your vacuum wand. This saves you time. For instance, when vacuuming your floors if you notice the ceiling fan is dusty, no problem. Without having to look for the dusting brush in your closet, you simply remove it from the tool caddy, put on the dusting brush and voila, you can clean the fan right then and there. A tool caddy puts the tools you need at your fingertips.
	A hose hanger included allows you to easily store your vacuum hose when not in use. Mount it on the wall of the garage or a closet door to keep your vacuum hose neatly stored and avoid kinks.
