I have marble floors and the carpet brush was scratching my tiles. This is a good purchase for me, since I vacuum rather than sweep my floors(I have dust allergies and need to vacuum often).

This tool is perfect for ceramic tile with deep grout. The brushes are extra long to grab the dirt out of the cracks on every pass. And the swivel design gets it low enough to go under counters and any furniture I have. My kitchen and living room and entire first floor is tile, so I have a lot of hard surface to cover. This tool makes quick work of it. This light-weight hard surface head on my central vacuum gives me a new definition of light housekeeping. It is also the best tool I've found for removing the hair from the rugs in front of the bathroom sink where we stand to fix our hair. Nothing short of a hair brush worked before I got this tool!
