Standard Inlets for Central Vacuums

Standard Central Vacuum Inlets allow the user to turn the central vacuum unit on and off with connecting low voltage wire to the back of the inlet and this wire is daisy chained back to the central vacuum power unit. Standard Inlets for central vacuums do not have any electrical wire connections. If you have standard inlets installed, or you plan on installing them, you can still use an electric central vacuum hose with a pigtail cord which plugs into the closest electrical outlet providing electricity to power an electric power brush.
