Changing your vacuum bag on a regular basis is critical to ensure optimum performance of your Central vacuum system. When your central vacuum bags begin to fill airflow can be restricted ultimately decreasing your central vacuums power. There is no set rule regarding how often to change your bag. It is recommended to not fill the bag to capacity. If your bag is at capacity, your vacuum will not be performing efficiently or effectively. 

A full bag can lead to a slight odor coming from your system. Changing your DustCare 3000 paper bags will decrease any odor permeating from the vacuum. If you run an exhaust line from your central vacuum to the outside of your home, this will eliminate the smell in your garage or basement.
