Changing a central vacuum relay is a simple task that any beginner level Do-It-Yourselfer could tackle.

When you receive your new relay and are getting ready to tackle the project, be sure your central vacuum unit is unplugged. It is a good idea to remove one wire at a time and connect that wire to the new relay one wire at a time. By doing this, there will be no confusion regarding which wire gets connected where. Once the new wires are connected, remove the old defective relay and install the new relay.

 Beam Industries warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the Beam built-in vacuum power unit body and filter shall be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase until the original consumer purchaser ceases to own the system or until the system is removed from its original installation, whichever occurs first. Motors and electrical components in Beam Serenity QS power units are warranted for 10 years, and motors and electrical components for other Beam power units are warranted for 7 years. Hoses, powerbrushes, and tools carry a 3 year warranty. Labor on all warranted items is covered for 1 year. This warranty does not apply to items requiring normal replacement such as belts, bags, etc.

THIS IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY OF BEAM INDUSTRIES. IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD.

Should any defect in material or workmanship appear within the time of the above warranty, the selling BEAM Dealer should be contacted. The Dealer shall repair or replace (at BEAM’S sole option) or credit, such part or parts in accordance with the applicable warranty period stated above. BEAM shall not be responsible for such service unless provided by an authorized BEAM Dealer utilizing authentic BEAM replacement parts.

This warranty does not apply to loss or damage resulting from (at BEAM’s sole option) normal wear and tear, commercial use, neglect, abuse, acts of God, accidents, improper installation, improper modification or alteration, improper use and operation or failure to provide proper maintenance. Some States or Provinces do not allow exclusion of warranties or limitations of damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have additional rights, which vary from State to State, or Province to Province. This limited warranty applies to USA and Canada installations only. For specific warranty information for your Country, consult your authorized Beam Dealer.

Other warranties apply to other parts of this equipment and optional accessories. Please consult the materials accompanying the individual items.

BEAM SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SYSTEM.

Keep all payment records (bill of sale/delivery slip). The date on these records establishes the warranty period. Should warranty service be required, you must show proof of purchase. If proof of purchase cannot be supplied, the warranty period will be determined from the date of manufacture of the product To place on file proof of the required information, fill out and return the Warranty Card, which is included in with your power unit.
