The Valet Central Vacuums  are manufactured in Ponca City, Oklahoma by Lindsay Manufacturing. Valet Intercoms are manufactured by Valet but distrubuted by Lindsay Manufacturing. The central vacuum units are constructed from rolled galvannealed steel which are powder coated for a tough, corrosion-resistant lifetime of use. Valet intercoms are a type of intercom where each unit acts as its own master station, allowing users full control over which unit they are calling. Lindsay Manufacturing

Valet is made by Lindsay Manufacturing, Incorporated. Lindsay manufacturing started in 1956 as a manufacturer of heat exchangers. Then in 1960, it became VacuMaid and committed themselves to the manufacturing of central vacuum systems. In the 1960's and 70's, VacuMaid continued to be the leaders in many new ideas for the central vacuum industry. Products were sold under the names AstroVac and VacuMaid. They now also manufacture the Imperium and Valet lines of central vacuums. They continue to improve and in 1987, they changed their name to Lindsay Manufacturing to distinguish themselves as a manufacturer. They export their products to 20 different countries in overseas markets in Europe, Canada, and Australia with other customers as widespread as South America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Lindsay never stops improving their products and inventing new products, maintaining their leadership in the central vacuum and intercom industries.
