 A little different than my old Nutone

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This mixer is somewhat different than my old Nutone.

It works just fine with the old Nutone motor, but the parts are not interchangeable. For example, you cannot use the Nutone bowl with the TCC mixer or the Nutone mixer with the TCC bowl. The TCC mixer BOWL turns on the base, unlike the Nutone, where the MIXER turned, not the bowl.

I find that the TCC mixer doesn't mix batter as well as the Nutone did. The batter bulks up next to the middle wall of the bowl and the beater doesn't incorporate it together very well. Also, the bowl spins VERY fast...even on slow. This might be due to my Nutone motor...I don't know. I gave it a "poor design" in the ratings due to this.

The TCC mixer is built to last. I can see that the parts are heavier duty than the Nutone was. This mixer will last you a long time. I would recommend it, even though it has a few drawbacks.
