This Imperium true cyclonic central vacuum uses no bags or filters giving you strong performance and no loss of suction over time. Pure cyclonic cleaning action is the most impressive way of filtering dirt. Heavy particles fall to the bottom of the dirt can and all the fine particles and allergens are exhausted outside. No traditional filters to clog or clean. No restriction by dirty cloth, paper or foam filters so you get virtually 100% sustained cleaning power.

The CV7800 has the strongest 120 voltage Lamb Ametek (Commercially rated) Premier 7.2in Tangential By-Pass all metal motor giving you powerful suction of 631 air watts. The exclusive brush interceptor motor is specially designed to allow the motor to stop running once the brushes wear down rather than damaging the Armature.

The CV7800 and the CV1200 Dirt Canister are all steel construction and completely manufactured in the USA. The versatility of the dual canister allows you to mount the motor pod above the dirt canister, next to the dirt canister, or even in a separate location.

The Imperium also features a patented Air Channel, which allows a plastic can liner to be used inside the dirt canister making emptying the can less hassle and less mess. With the Air Channel, you eliminate clouds of dust billowing up in your face when you empty the dirt can. HolsterVac, a brand new innovation in central vacuum cleaning convenience, is deal for workbenches or work areas. We call it Suction on Demand for woodworking shops, hair salons, grooming stations, podiatrist and veterinarian offices. A stretch central vacuum hose rests in the HolsterVac, always within easy reach. Just remove it from the holster and your vacuum system automatically turns on. When you've finished your cleanup just put the hose back in the holster and your central vacuum automatically shuts off.

Components of a Central Vacuum System

The Central Vacuum Power Unit : The central vacuum motor and dirt canister are two separate units that can be mounted beside each other or separately. The Imperium CV7800/1200 has a 7.2" Tangential by-pass Lamb Ametek motor, one of the best central vacuum motors in the industry today. These units are treated with special non-corrosive paint so they remain rust-free although stored in hot and humid places.

Central Vacuum Inlets: Depending on the size of your home and the length hose you choose, these inlets will be installed in your walls at various locations. When the end of the hose is inserted to the inlet, the power unit automatically turns on so you can start vacuuming immediately. Great product from a wonderful company that provides great service and help. I could not say enough about the Central Vacuum Stores. This is our second purchase of a complete system since we recently moved. So far I'm very impressed with the Imperium CV7800 owned for almost a year. This is my first cyclonic (had a Eureka before which was great at the old house) and it never loses suction. I wish the cyclonics had just one canister and not two, but I guess that gives you multiple mounting options.

This by far the best unit I've ever had. It runs very quiet so I can be in the shed when my wife is using it. I'm getting about 50% more dirt in the canister compared to my old Singer unit. My old cyclonic unit clogged the exhast line and destroyed the unit. This unit has a small screen that is easily cleaned that keeps the dog hair from clogging the exhast line.

A great vac unit. I also purchased and installed a retro-fit intercom system master unit that is also a great product.
