Important NuTone Information: The NuTone CT600 and CT650 powerheads have been manufactured to take 1 of 2 belt options. The options are a Geared Belt or a Poly-V Belt.

  • Powerheads manufactured between January 2006 and November 2008 take the Poly-V Belt.
  • Powerheads manufactured prior to January 2006 or manufactured after November 2008 take the Geared Belt.

 

If you are unsure which belt your NuTone CT600 or CT650 take, you will find a number on the underside of your powerhead to determine it.

  • If your model takes a Geared belt it will state NuTone #0518B
  • If your model takes a Poly-V Belt it will state NuTone #1012B

I love my central vacumn. We got our first one in 1963 or 4 when we built our home. I'm not sure just what year we put it in, since we built the house ourselves in our spare time!! We had to replace the orignal the one we have now and have had no problems until the belt broke and we had to get a replacement. The service you gave us was very good. Thanks.
