A hose sock covers the vacuum hose and provides a barrier between the ribbed hose material and your walls, making it impossible for the hose to cause any damage. The Hide-A-Hose system comes with a hose sock installed and this is the replacement kit for the 50 foot Hide-A-Hose hose sock and you must use their hose sock for your Hide-A-Hose.

The Hide-A-Hose sock is removable and washable. If you think about the fact that the hose sock sits on your floor as you vacuum and with the Hide-A-Hose system is stored in the same vacuum tubing inside your walls, it can get dirty. It is possible to wash and rewash this sock easily.
