This hose is better than the basic 30' hose that came with my 60's split level house and works with its older outlets. I've not tried any of the other hoses out there. My wife complains about the basic hose and prefers the 5-15' flex hose that came with our zip broom. I find the shorter length of the Vac U Store extendable hose is easier to pack around to the different levels of the house. Also, the handle grip, which is not found on basic hoses, seems to make the job of vacuuming easier. There is no power on/off switch at the handle so you still have to unplug the hose to turn it off. Pressing the button to retract the hose gets all but about two feet back in, which is not really a problem. I had thought about getting a 30' flex hose as they are similar in length when not extended, but they don't come with a handle to grip.

Shipping is Free for orders over $60.00 to all 50 states with some exceptions; orders under $60.00 there is a $8.95 shipping and handling fee. We usually ship all orders by UPS ground shipping, but also use USPS (United States Postal Service) and drop shipping as well. Expedited Shipping is also available.
