 Better than original but.....

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this housing as a replacement for my outdated Nutone model QT100LH bath fan. My fan motor went out and my original housing was made of painted steel and became very rusty and flaky, so I replaced it at the same time. This unit is far superior being made of galvanized steel. One problem was that my model has a light bulb housing that screws to the bottom of this unit and the one I received did not have the mounting brackets for this light housing. The locating dimples were there but no brackets spot welded on. Luckily for me, I am a sheet metal fabricator and whipped up the brackets to make it all work. Also there was an area where there was spot weld splatter that I had to grind so the fan would sit down flush. Considering these concerns I am still very satisfied as the housing is well built and these parts are getting hard to find for discontinued Nutone units.

Shipping is Free for orders over $60.00 to all 50 states with some exceptions; orders under $60.00 there is a $8.95 shipping and handling fee. We usually ship all orders by UPS ground shipping, but also use USPS (United States Postal Service) and drop shipping as well. Expedited Shipping is also available.
