I was getting a lot of condensation and mildew in my bathroom. Fans were working but over 16 years old. Took a chance and purchased the replacement motors for my 2 bathrooms. Very easy to install. product worked great. It's been a month and I have seen no mildew and it clears up the fogged up mirrors quickly after a shower.

Everything was right except the shaft on the new motor was too long to fit in the existing housing and had to be cut off. If you don't have the proper tool it could be difficult.

Easy to install by pretty much anyone who can use a screw driver. No instructions needed, just reverse the direction of disassembly. Very good shipping to Alaska. Priority Mail. Fast service with good communication. This Comments section could use some help though. It doesn't tell you that you can't use the return key, it just won't accept your comments until you guess what's wrong.

I checked beginner, because I could have switched this fan motor out myself. I waited for nearly two months for my husband to get back from out of town work to fix this. I watched him switch everything out in just a few minutes. I think this motor was a much better buy than buying the whole fan again. The shipping is fast, and if you have questions prior to placing your order, you can call and talk to them. They are very helpful.

Our original bathroom fan and motor lasted 20 years, so we're expecting the same from this new replacement. Easy to install becase we had the old motor and fan out a number of times. However, NO instructions came with the new motor and fan, so pay close attention to the old equipment when you remove it. CVS had the best price, free shipping for this item, an easy-to-navigate web site and great customer service.
